Summary As our Home Delivery Shift Supervisor, you’ll help us oversee a team of friendly faces who can help us feed as many hungry people as possible, and grow guest loyalty through pleasant interactions and excellent service. The ideal candidate has a great demeanor and possesses a valid driver’s license. If you enjoy a fast-paced role and are looking for flexibility in your schedule, we welcome you to apply. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The Home Delivery Shift Supervisors serve customers by performing the duties listed below. (Other duties may be assigned): Oversee orders are delivered accurately and in good condition Provide excellent customer service and build guest loyalty by delivering food in a timely, cordial manner Manage and solve any issues or delays that arise and resolve problems efficiently and effectively. Represent the company with professionalism by driving safely, exercising sound judgment, and treating customers with respect. Manage multiple orders, delivery locations, and customers effectively. Corroborate with drivers to deliver orders within an optimal amount of time, ensuring freshness of food and respecting customer preference.s Demonstrate safe vehicle operation in all types of traffic and weather conditions. Aid team members to navigate local streets and highways with ease using a GPS Communicate clearly with the internal team, customers, and other stakeholders by demonstrating an eagerness to work through any issues or points of confusion. Certify orders before each delivery and maintain a detailed, comprehensive delivery lo.g Possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record Ability to lift and carry heavy food orders and operate a vehicle for periods Strong interpersonal skills, verbal communication skills, and conflict-resolution skills Be detail-oriented and organized Customer Service Skills Home Delivery Shift Supervisors are expected to provide customer service that is
extra ordinary and exceeds the expectations of our customers. They are required to follow established policies and guidelines that go beyond simply smiling and greeting customers. Going above and beyond encompasses attitudes, respect, and flexibility. Home Delivery Shift Supervisors are expected to have a positive “can-do” attitude; to treat others with respect; and to easily adjust to changes in the workplace. Education and/or Experience High School diploma or general education degree (GED). Language Skills Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, schedules, and memos. Knowledge of English This is a customer service driven position. The candidate must have the ability to speak, read and understand English fluently. Ability to listen to all complaints, suggestions, comments, and implement those that work. Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand for long periods; walk; use of hands; their hands to finger; handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and /or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
