We are seeking to hire a
HVAC/R Technician I

HVAC/R Technician I
will: Inspect, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain various HVAC, refrigeration, steam systems, and related equipment. Maintain, install, and repair a wide range of HVAC/R equipment, including steam turbines, absorption units, chillers, heat exchangers, air handling systems, fans, water coolers, filters, pressure reducing stations, dehumidification and humidification equipment, piping systems, and cooling towers. Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes and tubing according to specifications. Study engineering drawings, manuals, and sketches to identify operational issues. Maintain, repair, and replace valves and fittings in steam, hot water, heating, and cooling systems. Perform urgent, routine, and corrective repairs for refrigeration, air conditioning, and building systems. Maintain compliance records with regulations and standards. Prepare material lists for repairs and projects. Record preventative maintenance activities accurately. Perform other related duties as assigned. **Required competencies include:** Knowledge of safety regulations, heating and cooling systems, fluid systems, and brazing techniques. Ability to follow instructions and exercise sound judgment. Professional demeanor with excellent customer service skills. Problem-solving, time management, and adaptability skills. **Minimum requirements:** High School Diploma or GED, plus completion of a Journeyman program. Five (5) years of HVAC/R experience. Universal Refrigeration License (non-automotive).
