What We're Looking For:
Barge Design Solutions is seeking a Client Service Leader to drive business development and lead client relations with private sector clients in the datacenter market. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in datacenter site selection/due diligence and civil design.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform and coordinate land development-related business development activities in the datacenter market.
Identify new partners and business opportunities, increase market share, and enhance Barge’s competitive position.
Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing clients to grow our presence in the market.
Develop and execute client-focused strategies to achieve growth and meet financial profitability goals.
Collaborate with directors, project managers, and other specialists on reconnaissance, pursuits, and securing of work.
Promote and collaborate with various technical disciplines, including civil engineers, environmental scientists, landscape architects, and surveyors.
Lead the development of proposals, including scope, schedule, budget, and fee negotiations.
Represent the company at client events and industry trade association meetings.
Maintain communication with the team to monitor project progress and engage with clients during projects.
Provide technical support as needed to ensure successful deliverables.
Collect, report, and maintain opportunity status using CRM.
Contribute to the development of the annual sales plan and meet personal sales goals.
Education & Experience Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited program.
PE registration preferred.
Minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience in the A&E and survey industry with demonstrated success in business development, client services, and retention.
Experience and demonstrated success working with datacenter clients, including working with local private owners and developers, community or datacenter development organizations, or other relevant industries or clients.
Professional network in the market area.
