Retail General Manager

Zeroday Brewing Company is a microbrewery located in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. We are looking for an experienced and passionate Retail General Manager to join our team. As the Retail General Manager, your primary responsibility is to the customer, ensuring that every guest has a wonderful experience. The ideal candidate loves providing guests with amazing experiences, is extremely organized and detail oriented, and is responsible as well as hard working. The position will be full-time with required hours on nights and weekends. To be successful as a Retail General Manager you should have excellent communication skills and a passion for customer service. You should be someone who leads by example, both in how you interact with your team as well as how you support our guests. Below is a list of expected duties. JOB DUTIES Manage and oversee the entire retail operation Deliver exceptional guest services Enhance guest satisfaction Evaluate and updated menus periodically Develop the overall restaurant marketing strategy Respond effectively to customer questions and complaints Organize and supervise shifts Manage and lead staff Hire and terminate employees when necessary Train and evaluate staff performance Manage food cost, forecast requirements, and maintain inventory Control costs and minimize waste Manage the coordination of all special events hosted in the taproom while keeping acalendar of booked events Maximize sales of beer, food and merchandise at all retail locations MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Ideally, 5+ years of Hospitality experience Previous brewery, restaurant, or craft beer experience preferred Retail experience preferred – both back and front of house experiences Extensive food, beer, wine and alcohol knowledge KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS Knowledge of and interest in the craft beer industry Experience in a fast-paced work environment and the ability to multitask. The ability tothink on your feet and adapt, Flexibility is key.
