Job purpose Plan, organize, and coordinate production operations and resources, ensuring the achievement of goals, including HSEQ Main responsibilities Lead and manage the beverage production process from raw material handling to finished product packaging Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and strategies to meet production targets and deadlines. Optimize production workflows to enhance efficiency while maintaining product quality In collaboration with stakeholders, design and develop new products while improving existing ones. Champions GMP initiatives as part of continuous improvement Maintain a Quality Assurance system that ensures beverages meet quality and safety standards, and adhere to regulatory requirements Investigate and resolve quality-related issues, implementing corrective actions as needed Build and lead a high-performing production team, providing coaching and mentorship. Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement. Manage staffing, training, and development needs within the production department Manage production budgets, including cost control and resource allocation. In collaboration with the Plant Engineer, ensure equipment maintenance, repairs, and upgrades are carried out as necessary. Ensure adequate inventory levels of raw materials and supplies. In liaison with the leadership team, set and review departmental Budgets, Objectives, Goals, and SOPs. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), prepare regular production reports, including performance metrics and KPIs. Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions accordingly Requirement Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Industrial Chemistry, Biological Sciences, or a related field Registered professional engineer Minimum of 7 years of experience in beverage research, development, and production management. In-depth knowledge of beverage production processes and quality control. Good collaboration, analytical skills, and consumer market awareness Excellent leadership and management skills Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality standards in the beverage industry Proficiency in using production management software and tools Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
