Medical Practice Lead – Otorhinolaryngology Location

UMPB - Professional Bldg 419 W Redwood St Baltimore MD 21201 USA Responsibilities

Train all new Medical Practice Representatives and provide feedback on staff performance. Develop and maintain training manuals and competencies for the department. Utilize improvement strategies and tools to positively impact all aspects of operations. Lead on‑site activities to promote patient satisfaction and welfare; follow service recovery protocols and address patient concerns. Attend EPIC Super User training sessions and act as the front‑end Super User for the practice site. Demonstrate working knowledge of the revenue cycle related to patient encounters and insurance verification. Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred. 5–7 years of medical practice experience specializing in front desk operations, PC proficiency, and strong customer service skills. Current knowledge of payor requirements for referrals and authorizations. Prior EMR/EPIC experience preferred. Minimum three years of medical practice level III experience. Total Rewards

The referenced base salary range represents the low and high end of University of Maryland’s Faculty Physician’s Inc. salary range for this position. Exact salary will ultimately depend on multiple factors including geographic location, skills, work experience, market conditions, internal equity, responsibility factor and span of control, education/training and other qualifications.
