Schedule:
Full Time
Shift : Thursday, Saturday and Sunday 630a-7p, Call Required. Required to work every 3rd holiday

The community you’ll be caring for:
AdventHealth Redmond
The role you’ll contribute Responsible for performing MRI imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Positions, moves, and assists patients to ensure accurate imaging results. This role performs clerical duties and provides basic patient care within the scope of practice and departmental standards. In addition, this position adheres to MRI safety guidelines, compliance plans, and regulations of local, state, and federal agencies.
The value you’ll bring to the team
Performs high-quality MRI examinations in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols to ensure diagnostic image quality and patient safety.
Reviews patient history and clinical information to confirm exam appropriateness and identify potential contraindications (e.g., implanted devices, metal, claustrophobia, contrast allergies).
Screens all patients, staff, and equipment for MRI safety compliance per facility policy and current safety standards, including completion of required screening documentation.
Operates all imaging equipment safely and properly, including scanners, injectors, and monitors, adapting protocols for patients of all ages.
Positions patients accurately and comfortably using appropriate immobilization and coil placement techniques to ensure high-quality imaging.
Qualifications The expertise and experience you’ll need to succeed:
High School Grad or Equivalent [Required]
Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
Registered Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging (R.T.(MR)ARRT)) [Required] OR
American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) [Required]
