Pediatrix Medical Group has a per diem opportunity for experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioners to join a well-established practice providing care to neonates at Christus St. Michael’s Hospital in Texarkana, TX. Christus St. Michael's Hospital was ranked by

in 2017. The Level-III NICU has 8 beds; the intermediate unit has 7 beds with an average daily census of 9 infants. The neonatologists see babies in the newborn nursery with approximately 2,100 deliveries annually. NNPs provide 24-hour, in-house coverage, caring for preemies and term babies requiring mechanical ventilation, nitric oxide, oscillator ventilation, and total body cooling. Qualifications
Current APRN national specialty certification Minimum of a master’s degree and 1 year post-grad clinical experience TX license or active IMLC preferred Certified NNP with recent experience required Benefits and Compensation
Pediatrix covers travel expenses (round-trip flight/rental car or mileage and lodging) for those residing outside a commutable distance. Malpractice insurance is also covered for this W-2 per diem position. Benefits for Per Diem members include: Employee Assistance Program Per diem team members are not eligible for PTO, holidays, or additional compensation.
