Overview
The College of Business and Security Management (CBSM) at the University of Alaska Fairbanks invites applications for adjunct instructors for the 2025-2026 academic year. Adjunct faculty teach undergraduate and graduate-level courses in Applied Management, Business Administration, Economics, sport and recreation management, and Healthcare Management programs. All applicants are expected to commit to teaching excellence and to develop a unique and engaging curriculum. Teaching may be conducted face-to-face, online, or a hybrid of the two. To thrive in this role, applicants will demonstrate expertise in the course areas listed above.
Responsibilities
Teach undergraduate and graduate courses inApplied Management, Business Administration, Economics, sport and recreation management, and Healthcare Management. Develop a unique and engaging curriculum and demonstrate teaching excellence. Deliver instruction face-to-face, online, or in hybrid formats as required by the program. Contribute to student learning outcomes and program goals as determined by the program directors.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Master\'s degree in a related field may be required. Teaching experience and professional experience in a related field are preferred. Professional certifications are preferred, but not required.
Position Information
Part-time, adjunct position with pay: $5,266 per semester-based three-credit course, or $1,755.33 per credit hour. Work may be in-person or remote, depending on program needs; applicants should indicate their ability or preference for teaching in person, remotely, or in a hybrid capacity. This is a pooled position.
