In the heart of Brent, an 'Outstanding' Secondary School is seeking a Business & Economics Teacher / ECT for a September 2025 start. This is a permanent, full-time position.

The Head Teacher is looking for an ambitious Business & Economics Teacher / ECT who is eager to contribute to an expanding Secondary Department. The school is known for its supportive SLT and impressive Progress 8 results across all subjects.

Experienced teachers can take on roles such as KS3 Coordinator or Pastoral Responsibilities. Early Career Teachers (ECTs) will participate in a bespoke ECT induction program and collaborate with both new and experienced teachers.

Job Description

Inspire and motivate students in secondary education

Work alongside a team of dedicated teachers

Opportunities for TLR roles such as KS3 Coordinator and Pastoral Responsibilities

ECTs will receive 1:1 mentoring, bespoke induction, and training

Start date: September 2025, full-time, permanent

Salary: MPS1-UPS3 + TLR (depending on experience)

Location: Borough of Brent

Person Specification

Must have UK QTS or be in the process of obtaining it

Strong academic record (Degree, A Levels, GCSEs)

Meeting the 8 Teaching Standards at a 'Good' or 'Outstanding' level

Ability to work well within a team

Willingness to accept feedback
