JR253Compensation Grade:10**BASIC PURPOSE:**Conduct collateral verification reviews, including collateral reviews in anticipation of a member going into delivery status, and with respect to delivered collateral, in accordance with Bank policy. Analyze and evaluate collateral pledged to the Bank, with an emphasis on delivered collateral and Residential Available for Sale (RAFS) collateral, to support lending by the Bank.**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:*** Prepares or participates in the preparation of in-depth evaluation of all loan collateral pledged to the Bank, with special attention to delivered collateral and Residential Available for Sale collateral, including residential loans, multi-family loans, commercial real estate loans, and home equity lines of credit/second mortgage loans to evaluate loan quality and eligibility, and to ensure compliance with Bank policy, procedures, and regulations.* Participates in departmental meetings, including identification of process weaknesses with recommendations for improvement, as well as assisting management in formulating Bank policies and procedures in relation to the delivery process.* Participates in the development, design, enhancement, and maintenance of comprehensive financial spreadsheets, models, and collateral-related software systems to facilitate the analysis and monitoring of the Bank’s collateral, including delivered collateral.* Reviews the work of third-party contractors and other support staff and provides directional leadership regarding delegation and prioritization of work as it relates to Residential Available for Sale reviews and onsite collateral verification reviews, including collateral reviews in anticipation of a member going into delivery status, and with respect to delivered collateral.* Prepare reports for senior management regarding member institutions with pledged assets, including delivered collateral for management to make collateral-based decisions.* Interact with and advise member institutions regarding the eligibility of various assets as collateral and provide shareholders with guidelines, as well as assists with the interpretation of the Bank’s policies and guidelines as it applies to member collateral.* Collaborate with the Collateral Department staff to provide appropriate communication regarding delivery issues with members and related vendors.* Conducts exit meetings with senior management of member institutions, summarizing collateral verification review findings to ensure that the member understand the loan file delivery process and interacts directly with member institutions regarding the eligibility of various assets as collateral, provides members with guidelines and interpretation of the Bank’s collateral policies, and ensures timely resolution of matters requiring attention identified in the delivery process.* Tracks status, phase completion benchmarks, preliminary review results, final review results, and completes closeout of the delivery review process for each delivered member.* Processes the daily input of collateral renewals and releases input by Collateral Operations and helps to maintain the management of the Collateral Delivery Vault, along with the Senior Collateral Delivery and Residential Available for Sale Analyst.* Completes the semi-annual inventory comparisons for all the delivered collateral in the vault.* Helps maintain the member files and works with the Senior Collateral Delivery and Residential Available for Sale Analyst in preparing for both the internal and external audits.* Participates in the testing of new system upgrades and rollouts.**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:**Requires strong analytical and reading comprehension skills and the ability to work within time constraints.Strong customer service and communication skills are required.A thorough knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is required.A basic knowledge of Microsoft Access and other Microsoft Office Suite applications is preferred.Strong process management, organizational, presentation, and problem-solving skills are required.Must be self-directed, able to perform multiple tasks with attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimum supervision.## MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or real estate; three years of work experience in a banking/lending environment, commercial real estate underwriting, loan documentation review, appraisal review, due diligence, and cash flow analysis and modeling; or the equivalent combination of education and experience is necessary.Occasional overnight travel is required.

Approximately 15% dependent on the workflow and need.**Work Location:** This individual must reside within commuting distance from our **Atlanta, GA**office.
