Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled
Power Platform Lead / Architect Subject Matter Expert (SME)
to drive the design, development, deployment, and optimization of Microsoft Power Platform solutions for defense-related projects. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in
PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse , and experience architecting these solutions in secure federal environments. This role requires an
active Secret Clearance
and prior experience in defense or federal projects. Responsibilities
Serve as the
Power Platform Architect , leading the overall design and technical strategy for Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, and enterprise Power Platform solutions. Lead the development and deployment of custom applications using
PowerApps
and
Power Automate
within secure environments. Design and implement
Dataverse, SharePoint Online , and Azure-integrated solutions for robust data management and workflow automation. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable Power Platform architectures. Ensure compliance with
DoD security standards , DISA STIGs, NIST guidelines, RMF, and FedRAMP requirements. Integrate Power Platform solutions with
Dynamics 365, Azure services, SQL Server, REST/Graph APIs , and third-party applications. Develop
Power BI dashboards and reports
for real-time analytics and operational insights. Optimize performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and define best practices for Power Platform solutions. Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers, architects, and end-users on Power Platform technologies. Support
ATO processes , cybersecurity assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives. Drive enterprise adoption of Power Platform solutions through architecture review, governance, and standards enforcement. Required Qualifications
Active U.S. Secret Clearance (current and verifiable). Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of
Microsoft Power Platform experience
(PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI). Expertise in
Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Azure Services, Dataverse , and integration strategies. Experience integrating PowerApps with
REST APIs, Graph API, SQL Server , and third-party systems. Hands-on experience with
Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, custom connectors , and solution architecture. Strong knowledge of
JavaScript, Power Fx, JSON , and other scripting languages relevant to Power Platform. Familiarity with
DoD security standards, RMF, FedRAMP , and secure federal IT environments. Excellent communication skills for interaction with government stakeholders and technical teams. Preferred Qualifications
Microsoft Power Platform Certifications ( PL-100, PL-200, PL-400, PL-600 ). Experience in
Power Platform architecture
and enterprise solution design. Background working on
DoD or federal government projects . Knowledge of
Power Virtual Agents, AI Builder , and automation technologies. Experience with
Agile, DevSecOps, and CI/CD
methodologies.
