We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Mental Health Nurse/Practitioner to join our Mental Health team at HMP Winchester, a category B prison located in Winchester. Hours 37.5 hours a week, across 5 days, 8:00–16:00 on a rota basis including weekends and some bank holidays, 1 in 4 weekends. This position is full time, with an annual salary up to £54,397.00 per annum FTE depending on experience. How will we support you? Main duties of the job

Responsible for assessment and ongoing management of patients’ mental health needs. Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team as an autonomous practitioner managing a caseload of patients, assessing their physical, social and psychological needs to develop a holistic health care plan. Contribute to our nursing strategy and vision to provide outstanding evidence-based care, seeking out, listening to and acting on feedback so that care is personalised and informed by what matters to patients. Deliver non-judgemental care, build therapeutic relationships and promote professional boundaries. Participate in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care, following policies and procedures and always considering safeguarding.
