The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will be responsible for performing Radiographic Imaging procedures independently, handling and administering radionuclides, maintaining records, and assisting the radiation safety officer as needed. Key responsibilities include: Performing quality nuclear imaging exams using proper equipment and radiation protection practices Maintaining records in accordance with departmental and state requirements Using computer to start and complete exams correctly Sending images to PACS via standard workflow process Performing direct patient care duties within technologist scope of practice Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have: Associate's degree from an accredited program (Bachelor's degree preferred) One-year experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (preferred) American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification Basic Life Support - CPR Cert Nuclear Medicine Technology Cert Board State license in Nuclear Medicine (if applicable) Primary Location: US-KS-Overland Park Work Locations: ADVENTHEALTH SOUTH OVERLAND PK 7820 W 165TH ST Overland Park 66223
