Join our innovative team to lead mechanical projects for a large-scale ambulatory care center and dental clinic. We are seeking a
Mechanical Project Manager
to join our Field Operations team, located in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Initial training may be conducted state-side. Our Mechanical Project Managers supervise, direct, and coordinate all mechanical construction activities on our projects, collaborating with mechanical trades superintendents, various subcontractors, and members of the RQ team. We are focused on delivering quality work within government requirements, on target budget, and schedule from conceptual design to project completion in support of RQ\'s Mission, Vision, and Values. This role may manage more than one mechanical project at a time.
Salary range : $130,000-$150,000. Eligibility includes company-provided housing for self and dependents on the island, company-provided vehicle, paid utilities, company-paid quarterly trips off island back to your home, and generous foreign income exclusion. Medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, Health Savings Account, and Paid Time Off. This position requires relocation to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, a valid passport, and in-depth background screening.
Responsibilities
Supervise, direct, and coordinate all mechanical construction activities on projects.
Collaborate with mechanical trades superintendents, subcontractors, and RQ team members.
Manage project scope, schedule, and budget to meet government requirements and project goals.
Oversee work from conceptual design to completion, potentially managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualifications
A 4-year degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management is preferred; high school diploma or GED is the minimum.
Courses in project management, construction management, mechanical trades, BIM and CADD are preferred.
Five or more years of experience as a Mechanical Project Manager on projects ≥ $5,000,000 (commercial/government).
Government, military, or large commercial construction experience preferred; design-build experience is highly desirable.
Demonstrated experience managing projects in medical centers, dental facilities, or other healthcare environments preferred.
Computer literacy (Outlook, Word, Excel, Primavera P6) preferred; training can be provided.
Experience with BIM software preferred; training can be provided.
