High School Diploma or GED required. 6 years of related structural assembly experience. Experience working with Solumnia and Smarteam preferred. Q-stamp preferred. Position Purpose:

In a team-oriented work environment, independently perform a variety of structural assembly operations using required tools, prints, specs, and operational requirements to complete work assignments and ensure conformance to specifications. Assist and instruct other team members. All work should be in accordance with company design specifications, quality standards, and meet customer expectations. Principle Duties and Responsibilities: Essential Functions:

Use expertise as a skilled specialist to contribute to employee development and technique improvements, completing work innovatively and effectively. Perform assembly and fitting of detail parts and structures, including drilling and riveting operations; ensure parts/assemblies meet requirements. Interpret complex schematics, blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical instructions to safely perform layout, fabrication, and installation of parts, coordinating with supervision and inspection to ensure compliance with internal and FAA paperwork, sign-offs, and quality standards. Adapt to new tasks with minimal impact on established goals and schedules. Rivet structural assemblies and parts using all required tools, demonstrating the ability to remove fasteners without damaging structures. Read work orders, blueprints, lofts, sketches, and operation sheets to determine sequences, rivet sizes, hole patterns, and follow standard procedures for adhesives, sealants, and solvents. Check all work to ensure defect-free assemblies prior to final inspection. Mentor, train, and assist team members in interpreting blueprints and drawings; develop methods and aids to resolve production issues. Maintain logs and records such as MIR sheets, DMTs, Crabs, PCOs. Align and assemble parts using jigs, fixtures, pins, clamps, and fasteners. Make repairs per DMTs, MRRs, PCOs, and perform rework to ensure conformity. Plan workloads and resources to meet or exceed goals; oversee projects and assess material and documentation requirements. Maintain a clean and organized work area, supporting 5S and Lean initiatives, and adhere to safety regulations. Support Lean activities and comply with safety, 5S, and housekeeping policies. Perform other duties as assigned. Other Requirements:

Good computer skills and familiarity with related software. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Skilled in close-tolerance work with knowledge of special tools and equipment. Ability to solve dimensional problems using mathematical formulas involving fractions, decimals, and whole numbers. Proficiency with various measuring devices within specified tolerances. Ability to work any shift. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to climb ladders, stairs, work in small or restricted spaces. Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking, understanding).
