Structural Mech IV - Dallas, TX Only qualified candidates with the below experience will be considered for this position. Job Description & Requirements: High School Diploma or GED required. 6 years related structural assembly experience. Experience working with Solumnia and Smarteam preferred. Q-stamp preferred. Position Purpose: In a team-oriented work environment, independently performs a variety of structural assembly operations using required tools and appropriate prints, specs, and operational requirements to complete work assignments, ensuring conformance to specifications. Assists and instructs other team members. All work should meet design specifications, quality standards, and customer expectations. Principle Duties and Responsibilities: Essential Functions: Use skills as a specialist to contribute to employee development and complete work innovatively and effectively. Perform assembly and fitting of parts, structures, and varied drilling and riveting operations, ensuring requirements are met. Interpret schematics, blueprints, engineering drawings, and instructions to safely perform layout, fabrication, and installation on aircraft, coordinating with supervision and inspection for FAA paperwork and quality compliance. Adapt to new tasks with minimal impact on schedule and goals. Rivet structural assemblies using all required tools, demonstrating the ability to remove fasteners without damage. Read work orders, blueprints, and sketches to determine operation sequences, rivet sizes, hole patterns, and follow SOPs for adhesives and sealants. Check work for defects prior to final inspection. Mentor and assist team members in interpreting blueprints and drawings; develop methods to resolve production issues. Maintain logs and records such as MIR sheets, DMTs, Crabs, PCOs. Align and assemble parts using jigs, fixtures, pins, clamps, and fasteners. Perform repairs per DMT, MRR, PCO, and rework to ensure conformity. Organize workloads and resources to meet or exceed goals, oversee projects, and assess material requirements. Maintain a clean and orderly work area, support 5S and Lean initiatives, and adhere to safety regulations. Support Lean activities and perform other duties as assigned. Other Requirements: Good computer skills and familiarity with related software. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Skilled in close-tolerance work with knowledge of special tools and equipment. Ability to solve dimensional problems using mathematical formulas. Proficient in using measuring devices within specified tolerances. Ability to work any shift, lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in small or restricted spaces. Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking, understanding). Must Have: High School Diploma or GED. 6 years related structural assembly experience. Proficiency in English language skills.
