As the Weld Manufacturing Engineer for JD Ottumwa Works based in Ottumwa, IA, you will: Support the Order Fulfillment Process (OFP) Plan, coordinate, and perform manufacturing engineering work for a project or process. Operate in a team environment within either the enterprise product delivery process or the enterprise order fulfillment process VISA Sponsorship is NOT available for this position Requirements
Background in Engineering (mechanical, welding, industrial) Knowledge of manufacturing and or distribution processes, quality, tooling, tool design, total preventative maintenance, and facilities Expertise with engineering tools, systems, and databases What Makes You Stand Out
Experience with robotic weld systems (Fanuc) Strong familiarity with engineering tools, systems, and databases Project management and business planning expertise Understanding of line and process design, material presentation, cycles of imbalance, and management tools Manufacturing engineering expertise and supporting weld and assembly processes, quality, tooling, tool design, PLCs, robotic systems, facilities Education
