Responsibilities
Assist with robotic programming in a variety of Fanuc and/or Cloos automated welding applications, material handling applications, or other automated processes.
Provide Weld Engineering support for 3rd Shift to aid in resolving production concerns and disruptions, and in communicating and implementing engineering changes.
Provide weld reclaim support for 3rd Shift.
Leverage and implement technology to expand the use of automation, as well as improve our access to and utilization of data and data analytics to drive business improvement.
Grow your overall skills in data and analytics tools.
Support, communicate and implement engineering changes.
Communicate with the Natural Work Group and leadership to understand problems, propose and execute solutions and provide updates.
Skills You Need
3 or more years of experience with manual and robotic weld processes along with demonstrated proficiency in JDAAT.
Experience with programming FANUC and/or Cloos robotic welding systems or other industrial arms.
Effectively completes tasks independently, tackles challenges with enthusiasm and resourcefulness, thrives in a collaborative and inclusive team, and creatively solves problems.
Ability to troubleshoot automated systems with support from UAW team members & controls.
Ability to plan and prioritize work effectively, adapting for changing conditions.
Ability to create and thrive in an inclusive and collaborative team environment.
Ability to work standard 3rd shift work hours; 10pm-6am Sunday through Thursday along with off‑shift hours and weekends, with potential call‑ins to support operations as needed.
