As the Nurse Educator in CHaD, you will:
Lead centralized onboarding, unit orientation, and ongoing competency validation using adult-learning best practices. Design, deliver, and evaluate evidence-based education (classroom, simulation, and at-the-elbow). Advance nurses’
critical thinking, clinical reasoning, communication,
and
interdisciplinary collaboration
. Run preceptor development and support the nurse residency program. Conduct learning needs assessments; create curricula, materials, and annual competency plans. Consult on organizational competencies, regulatory requirements, and system initiatives. Engage with teams via huddles/rounds; track outcomes and improve programs continuously. What you’ll bring:
MSN required
; graduate of an accredited nursing program. 3+ years
clinical experience in the identified specialty;
2+ years
in education/professional development preferred. Specialty certification
or
ability to obtain within
18 months
. Strong informatics, written, and verbal communication skills; simulation experience a plus. Licensure/Certifications:
