Job Description: Education: Required: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master’s degree in Nursing or enrollment in an RN-BSN or RN-MSN program within one (1) year of hire and completion within five (5) years of hire if hired after July 1, 2012. Licensure/Certification: Required: California Registered Nurse (RN) licensure; Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association (AHA) required in all departments upon hire; Additional certifications required as outlined, including ACLS, PALS, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and others depending on department and role. Specific timeframes for obtaining these certifications are detailed in the original description. Experience: Required: One (1) year of acute care RN experience or successful completion of Eisenhower’s Nurse Residency Program. Preferred: Experience in the area of specialty. The role involves assessing patient needs, participating in care planning, documentation, patient education, discharge planning, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives.
