Key Responsibilities
Perform critical care assessments, diagnoses, and emergency treatments during transport (rotor-wing, fixed-wing, or ground).
Accurately document patient care, treatments, and billing information.
Communicate effectively with internal teams, leadership, and external partners.
Maintain certifications and competencies through ongoing training, skill labs, and clinical rotations.
Adhere to all medical protocols and regulatory guidelines under the supervision of the program’s Medical Director.
Schedule
Schedule varies based on operational needs.
Qualifications
Active
RN license
in the state of employment.
Minimum
3 years
of critical care or emergency nursing experience ( 5 years preferred ).
Current certifications:
BLS, ACLS, PALS , and one of the following:
TNATC, TNCC, ITLS, or PHTLS . NRP and instructor certifications preferred.
CFRN certification (must be obtained within 24 months of hire).
Flight or transport experience preferred.
Ability to lift
up to 100 lbs
and maintain body weight under
235 lbs .
Must pass a pre-employment physical exam, functional capacity test, and drug screening.
Compensation & Benefits
Potential earnings:
$97,452 - $139,208
annually ( $28.73 - $41.01 per hour ).
Sign-on bonus of up to
$25,000
(based on overtime/double-time hours worked).
