Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Associate degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma. * Bachelors degree in Nursing and RN License plus 5 years experience as an educator/instructor or RN experience OR* Associate degree plus 7 years of experience as an educator/instructor or RN experience* Established ability to communicate targeted information to outside groups or agencies in a professional manner, utilizing varied and adaptable presentation methods. Strong leadership and organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to lead within a rapidly changing environment.* Proven ability to manage several projects simultaneously, maintain a high level of* organization managing large volumes of information, and balance multiple priorities, tasks, and varying workloads within a deadline.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.* Special knowledge, abilities and skills:* Must have experience using MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.* Preferred experience in Maternal-Child health.* Community health knowledge* Facilitate and host outreach events.* Ensure accurate data collection at health screening and outreach activities.* Provide and monitor preventative health screenings during events.* Assist in evaluating program effectiveness.* Develop and manage tools to measure educational and outreach impact.* Collaborate with staff to analyze data and identify improvement areas.* Create culturally sensitive health education materials and modules.* Identify guest speakers for live education and contribute to online content development.* Ensure healthcare provider education and community outreach align with program objectives.* Coordinate project teams to plan, develop, and execute critical program activities.* Participate in Operational Discussions Related to Grant Activities.* Conduct needs assessments and gap analyses of rural sites.* Assist in developing tools to identify system gaps.* Contribute to program development and education planning.* Analyze and recommend improvements for the educational environment as outlined in the grant.* Other Duties as Assigned.* Support additional responsibilities as required to meet program goals.At the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), we are looking for health care and non-health care professionals who believe in excellence as a way of life.
