Worship Director

Job Overview Part-time: Hours Open to Discussion Reports to: Senior Pastor Summit Church is seeking a part-time worship director to join our team. This role is a director-level position, reporting to the senior pastor. This is a leadership role and designed to establish the church in the faith and equip the saints for the work of ministry (Eph 4:11–16). The Worship Director will work with the Senior Pastor to oversee and coordinate all aspects of the worship gatherings and musical elements of ministry at Summit Church. Key Responsibilities ·Coordinate and lead weekly worship gatherings, as well as other special events. ·Organize, schedule, and execute rehearsals for the worship team. ·Contribute to the discipleship of the congregation with theologically-sound song choices and leadership through worship. ·Other duties as assigned by the Senior Pastor. Qualifications ·Faithful follower of Jesus Christ. ·Willing to become a member of Summit Church, in alignment with our mission and values. ·The candidate must be a team player and demonstrate a teachable spirit. ·Undergraduate degree or pursuing education toward a goal. ·Manage the worship ministry budget. ·Audition potential musicians and vocalists. ·Experience leading a worship team and leading rehearsals. ·Proficiency in leading congregational worship from an instrument (guitar, piano, etc.) · Preferred:

creative ability with video/social media and AV equipment.
