Global Banking and Markets (GBM) is a leading Canadian Capital Markets and Investment Banking business with a growing platform in the US and Latin America. We provide a full range of investment banking, credit and risk management products and services relevant to client financing and strategic development needs. Purpose

As the 3rd Line of Defense, Internal Audit provides enterprise-wide, independent, and objective assurance over the design and operations of the Bank’s internal controls, risk management and governance processes. The GBM Audit COO supports the Senior Vice President of GBM&T Audit in administering, coordinating, and facilitating the GBM&T Audit strategy and strategic projects, including annual planning, risk assessment, reporting, recruiting and training. The Senior Analyst will work as part of the GBM Audit COO Team to assist with executing strategic projects, aggregating and managing the audit universe, performing data analysis over audit cycle coverage, risk assessment, audit project resourcing, and board/committee reporting. The role also involves hiring initiatives to support resource management for GBM&T Audit. What You’ll Do

Support management reporting for ongoing operational audit activities, audit results and issues, and key performance indicators, including developing reporting materials, charts/graphs, and related commentary. Analyze and report on historical audit results, audit issue themes, training shortfalls, focus priorities, and emerging risks to the Bank. Assist in administering GBM&T Audit strategy and strategic projects for a portfolio of Business Line and Corporate & Support functions. Develop and maintain Audit Strategies across GBM&T functions. Develop quarterly continuous monitoring reporting packages for Executive Management meetings. Create annual planning visuals within PowerBI to facilitate audit planning and resource balancing. Support the oversight of strategic development of GBM&T Audit coverage to enable an effective global audit strategy and execution of special projects. Support GBM&T Audit hiring oversight, including weekly tracking of open/filled roles and organizational charts for GBM&T Audit functions. Coordinate with global Audit teams, Audit Professional Practices, and Data Analytics to enhance reporting capabilities. Maintain an understanding of the GBM&T Audit Function audit universe, key risk areas, and the Bank’s activities and Business Lines. Consider the Bank’s risk appetite and culture in day-to-day activities and decisions. Build strong relationships and communicate with GBM&T Audit Teams at staff and VP levels in the US and Toronto. Maintain effective stakeholder communication and handle conflicts and issue resolution. Contribute to a high-performance and inclusive work environment. What You’ll Bring

3+ years of relevant experience in financial services, preferably in an Audit function. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) with ability to create pivot tables, visual data charts, and analyze large datasets. Tableau and/or PowerBI experience is a plus. Strong teamwork, strategic planning, flexibility, creative thinking, and problem-solving skills in a dynamic environment. Excellent time management to handle multi-functional responsibilities and prioritize effectively. Analytical and problem-solving skills to compile, cleanse, and report data and address data gaps. Excellent written and verbal communication for engagement with Senior and Executive Audit Management; capable of presenting to executive management. Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Salary and Location

New York:
