Position Summary
As a Senior Manager, Automation Engineering at Walmart, you will lead the deployment and integration of cutting-edge automation systems focused on optimizing retail fulfillment operations. Your work will directly impact how Walmart fulfills customer orders faster, more efficiently, and at scale. This is a senior individual contributor role for an experienced engineer who can bridge the gap between automation technology and fulfillment operations—delivering solutions that improve throughput, accuracy, and customer satisfaction. This role must be able to work cross functionally with Operations, Vendors, Real Estate, Product and other internal partners to drive physical and operational readiness to enable a successful launch of new Accelerated Pickup and Delivery automation systems and processes. They will define critical tools, remove roadblocks, and lead operational leaders through this transformative change. A successful candidate will demonstrate an engineering and operational mindset putting the customer and associate first while delivering first-class high-tech solutions. This role is based in Bentonville, AR. It will require up to 50%+ travel to support launches with occasional nights and weekends to provide launch and store support. What you\'ll do

Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Vendors, Real Estate, Product and other internal partners to drive readiness for launches of Accelerated Pickup and Delivery automation. Define tools, remove roadblocks, and guide operational leaders through transformative change. Demonstrate an engineering and operational mindset that prioritizes customers and associates while delivering high-tech solutions. Minimum Qualifications
Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field and 4 years of experience in Engineering, supply chain, or a related area. Option 2: 6 years of experience in Engineering, supply chain, or a related area. 2 years of supervisory experience. Preferred Qualifications
