Civil Engineers

ELA Group, Inc. (ELA) is seeking a full-time Civil Design Engineer (EIT required, at minimum) with 5-10 years of experience to join our team at our Lititz, PA (Lancaster County) office. While not a remote position, this in-person role offers flexibility for work/life balance along with a relaxed and engaging office culture. General Responsibilities: · Develop plans that include details and specifications suitable for submitting permit applications (post-construction stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, land development, and NPDES). · Produce designs/calculations, complete plans and permit applications, and coordinate with reviewing agencies. · Assist the project director by providing project management and engineering support throughout the proposal, design, permitting, and construction phases of athletic facility development. · Perform construction administration and field observations during construction projects. Requirements: · Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field · Engineer in Training (EIT) certification · Professional Engineering (PE) License (preferred) · Experience/working knowledge of basic design principles for grading, calculation of slopes & grades, and site construction materials and methods · Training and/or work experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D · Ability to meet project and task deadlines as established by the project director · Strong written and verbal communication skills · An understanding of, and experience with, the municipal land development and NPDES permitting process · Generous paid time off · ESOP participation (ELA Group, Inc. is 100% employee-owned)
