,a 100% employee-owned company located in Camden, ME, is seeking a motivated, team-oriented Structural Engineer to join our growing structural team. Compensation Range: $80,000 - $100,000 About the Role The successful candidate will work closely with our two structural PEs, a structural drafter, and over 20 other licensed professionals and staff in our multidisciplinary firm. Our structural projects are extremely varied, ranging from small residential renovations to large-scale industrial projects to marine engineering, historic structures and small- and mid-sized commercial buildings. Responsibilities Structural analysis, design and detailing with a variety of materials (steel, concrete, masonry, cold-form steel) with a large emphasis on wood design Field inspections and reports, including assessments of existing structures and construction inspections Preparation of construction documents Construction administration and project management Requirements BS or MS in Civil or Architectural Engineering with a concentration in Structures Strong analytical skills Sound professional judgment and ability to work collaboratively EI certification (PE preferred) Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) 401(k) retirement savings plan with employer contributions Paid vacation Paid holidays Paid parental leave Health insurance plan Health Savings Account (HSA) Life insurance Short-term & long-term disability insurance
