Sponsler Automotive is looking for a Service Technician to join our growing team at our
Sponsler Donley Ford of Mount Vernon
location. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive service and repair. Responsibilities include performing repairs as specified on work orders and diagnosing vehicle issues.

Responsibilities
Perform work efficiently on repair orders following dealership standards.
Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools to identify issues.
Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
Communicate with Service Advisors about additional repairs needed and provide estimates.
Perform warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
Qualifications
At least 2 years of Service Technician experience preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Knowledge of diagnostics, electrical systems, and engine repair.
Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination.
Mechanical troubleshooting skills and ability to operate diagnostic equipment.
Excellent customer service and basic computer skills.
Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to new technology.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
