StaffMed Health Partners has partnered with a hospital in North Central Florida to assist with the recruitment of talented Pharmacists to join their team and their successful Transplant Cellular Therapy Clinical Pharmacy. Position Name: ADVANCED Clinical Pharmacist BMT Shifts

This hospital is a 523-bed, full-service medical and surgical acute care center. For over 49 years, we have served North Central Florida. We offer comprehensive cardiovascular care, oncology, orthopedics, and neurosciences. We provide minimally-invasive laparoscopic and robotic surgery, weight loss surgery, and treatment. The Transplant Cellular Therapy Clinical Pharmacy Specialist is responsible for the provision of comprehensive clinical pharmacy services for the TCT clinic. This individual serves as a resource for the BMT/Cellular Therapy, the interdisciplinary team, and other pharmacists. Duties include coordination, education, and medication management of anti-neoplastic and immunomodulating medications, with oversight of organization-wide collaboration on quality projects. Participation on multi-disciplinary rounds including pharmacokinetic and therapeutic consultation will be performed. Education

Doctor of Pharmacy Degree (PharmD) Required Experience

Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP) – completed a residency in this area with several years of RECENT (within the last year) pharmacist experience in an acute hospital setting; oncology and BMT experience required Candidates must have TCT, CAR-T, or BMT experience Must have Florida Pharmacy License; willing to start the licensing process if not yet obtained and provide ETA for licensure Benefits

Additional Information

The Advanced Clinical Pharmacist role would be more operational rather than a leadership role. They would work closely with the TCT Clinical Pharmacist and continue some general pharmacy duties such as collaborating with nurses and physicians on medication therapies, verifying orders, and supporting Pharmacy Technician tasks.
