Lee Health Heart Institute is seeking experienced Advanced Practice Providers to support our Open Heart ICU Team. The Heart Institute is growing to support the community and adding to our already robust interventional cardiology and cardiac surgery services lines. The Advanced Heart Failure program has launched which will bring with it new opportunities and additional acuity to our patient population. If you are an experienced Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant that is competent with managing critical care patients, open heart patients, those requiring mechanical circulatory support and ECMO then this position is for you. This position is located at Lee Health HealthPark Medical Center. It is a shift-based position with both days and nights available. Lee Physician Group utilizes EPIC EHS and Dragon Dictation software in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Responsibilities
Provide advanced practice care to patients in the Open Heart ICU and related services. Manage critical care patients, open heart patients, and those requiring mechanical circulatory support and ECMO. Qualifications
Certified Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners (Acute pathway preferred) or Physician Assistant Active, unrestricted license in the State of Florida, or the ability to obtain this license prior to start Current BLS and ACLS credentials through the American Heart Association Experience working with Cardiac and Critical Care patients Benefits
