Scientist II specialising in Bioassays is a pivotal role which requires a dynamic professional with strong experience in leading the technical aspect of Development and Validation of new assays and will work as part of a team to complete client/Sponsor driven projects. Responsibilities
Performing Sample analysis following established SOPs. Performing RUO and GxP assays independently or with minimal supervision. Participating in Development and Validation of new assays. Serving as a Principal Investigator (PI) as needed in accordance with the individual's area of expertise. Authoring and/or reviewing protocols and reports as required. Performing data processing and data review. General laboratory tasks including buffer preparation, sample logging and handing, shipping samples to or for clients, equipment maintenance, lab maintenance, and ordering supplies. Providing technical assistance to assigned research staff. Providing high quality documentation of all lab related activities, including, for example, assay batch record, sample inventory, etc. What We\'re Looking For
At least BS in a scientific field with at least 2 years of industry experience is required. Experience with cell-based assay ELISpot and/or Flow Cytometry techniques is required. Experience with GLP and cGMP regulations is required as assay development and validation is highly desired. Experience with immunoassays (ELISA) is highly desired. Must be detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and work as part of a team to complete projects. Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to work without supervision in a team environment. Will participate in client meetings. Why Pharmaron?
