Overview
ChristianaCare is currently recruiting for a highly motivated and skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our
Structural Heart Disease Program
within the Heart & Vascular Service Line. The Advanced Practice Clinician in this role will provide comprehensive medical management and care coordination for patients with structural heart disease across both the
inpatient and ambulatory settings . This position offers a unique opportunity to partner with a highly specialized multidisciplinary team, including interventional cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, imaging specialists, and nurses, to guide patients through evaluation, advanced cardiac procedures, and ongoing follow-up care. Responsibilities
Medical management of patients undergoing structural heart evaluation and intervention (e.g., TAVR, Mitral TEER, tricuspid valve therapies, Left Atrial Appendage Occlusions, and PFO/ASD closures). Coordinate care across hospital, clinic, and procedural settings to ensure seamless transitions. Engage patients and families in education and shared decision-making. Contribute to program growth, quality initiatives, and advancing the team’s efforts in innovation for structural heart disease therapies. Work Schedule
Full time – 80 hours, Day Shift, Monday through Friday, no holidays, no weekends, no on-call. Shift Start Time: Flexible shift times: 7:00 am – 4:00 pm Office location is on site at ChristianaCare – Newark Campus Why ChristianaCare?

Completion of a master’s degree as an Acute Care Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner or completion of a Physician Assistant program and board certification as a physician assistant. License or license eligible in the State of Delaware ACLS required DEA & Prescriptive authority required Prefer at least 2-3 years of experience in an acute care setting; previous experience in cardiology and structural heart disease highly desired. FTE Requirement
1.0 FTE (clinical 0.8, admin 0.2) Hourly Pay Range: $41.00 - $112.75. This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including skills, experience, and qualifications.
