Your tasks
You will carry out conveyor technology projects in the automotive sector, particularly in body shell construction, paint shops, and final assembly. You analyze existing processes and optimize manufacturing procedures. This includes developing conversion or restructuring concepts, creating layouts, and planning the restructuring steps for brownfield projects (including a catalog of measures). You calculate and evaluate plans for conveyor technology, including investment requirements, and support customers in their investment decisions by preparing decision templates. You plan conveyor systems in detail with regard to their mechanical and control engineering design and draw up the corresponding system specifications and requirements specifications for market inquiries. You check offers for plausibility, technical completeness, and comparability, and support the procurement process by making recommendations for the awarding of conveyor technology systems. You will be responsible for project management throughout the entire planning and procurement process and will coordinate project support during construction, plant installation, commissioning, and final acceptance. This also includes schedule tracking, cost control, and documentation. You continuously coordinate with neighboring trades, suppliers, and customers, thus ensuring smooth cooperation throughout the entire project.

You have relevant professional experience in the automotive sector, either with an OEM or a supplier, and are familiar with the planning, implementation, and commissioning process, especially in the field of conveyor and automation technology. You have in-depth knowledge of mechanics and design as well as electrical engineering and control technology, and ideally also layout planning. You are distinguished by your excellent conceptual, methodological, and analytical skills. You work independently and in a structured manner, take a solution-oriented approach, and are able to act on your own initiative. You are confident in using CAD layout programs such as Microstation, including TriCad and LuArtX. You are proficient in using MS Office.
