We serve the most diverse undergraduate student population in the state, including many first-generation and DACA students. We are particularly interested in applicants with experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and a commitment to access and equity in higher education. Responsibilities
Teach 3 or more credit hours in areas such as Health Care Organization, Jurisprudence, Financial Management, Human Resources, Economics, Management Principles, and Strategic Management in Health Care. Be available for student consultation and support. Additional duties include delivering courses in person, online, or hybrid; preparing course materials; grading; providing feedback; advising students; and complying with university policies on instruction and evaluation. Candidates should be adaptable to different instructional modes and sensitive to a diverse student body. Required Qualifications
Master's degree in health care management or related field. Preferred Qualifications
Dissertation complete, defense pending, or professional degree. Terms of Employment
Part-time, at-will employment on a per-credit-hour basis. No benefits. Teaching assignments depend on budget and enrollment. Candidates may be required to teach in person depending on course needs. Salary
