Nursing/Midwifery About the position: Are you keen to support the learning and development of nursing and midwifery students, EN Cadets, and newly graduated nursing and midwifery workforce in YNLHN? YNLHN Nursing and Midwifery Education Team are recruiting temporary contract positions for Clinical Facilitators up until June 26, 2026. Opportunities include general clinical facilitator roles, and specialised clinical facilitator roles, available in hub sites over the network. With strong clinical and communications skills, Clinical Facilitators provide ‘at elbow’ support to graduate nurses and midwives, support students and site preceptors, and report through to the Nurse Educator for the relevant hub. Clinical facilitators are role models and are key in developing the culture and values of YNLHN. Current vacancies Wallaroo and Port Pirie sites Emergency Clinical Facilitator 0.32 FTE Providing clinical facilitation support over the 2 main emergency departments of YNLHN, applicants will travel between sites, and are required to have a full driver’s licence. Preferred applicants will have completed additional study relevant to emergency or have recent clinical experience in emergency and have completed or be currently undertaking post graduate study in education. Perioperative Clinical Facilitator 0.21 FTE Providing clinical facilitation support over 2 perioperative sites in YNLHN, applicants will travel between sites, and are required to have a full driver’s licence. Preferred applicants will have completed post graduate study in perioperative nursing or have recent clinical experience in perioperative nursing and have completed or be currently undertaking post graduate study in education. Lower North Hub Clinical Facilitator: Various FTE up to 0.43 FTE Balaklava, Burra, Clare, Riverton, and Snowtown Preference will be given to applicants with demonstrated aged care and rural site experience. Applicants will be required to travel between sites and are required to have a full driver’s licence. Mid North Hub Clinical Facilitator: Various FTE up to 0.63 FTE Booleroo Centre, Crystal Brook, Laura, Jamestown, Orroroo, Peterborough, Port Pirie sites Preference will be given to applicants with rural site experience including aged care who are confident providing facilitation over the Mid North rural sites – Booleroo, Peterborough, Jamestown and Orroroo. Applicants will be required to travel between sites and are required to have a full driver’s licence. Yorke Peninsula Hub Clinical Facilitator: Various FTE up to 0.42 FTE Minlaton, Maitland, Port Broughton, Wallaroo, and Yorketown Preference will be given to applicants with demonstrated aged care and rural site experience.
