Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Geriatric Medicine Part-Time
Location: Farmington, ME Facility: Medical Group Practices Schedule: Part Time Job Category: Advanced Professional Provider Req #: 7918 Date Posted: Mar 8, 2025 MaineHealth Geriatric Medicine is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to care for patients in the hospital at MaineHealth Franklin Hospital in Farmington, Maine. The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will be responsible for providing primary care services, including assessing, diagnosing, prescribing, treating, and educating patients. Works closely with physicians and other clinicians in a team approach to patient care. This person will work in the nursing home setting providing care to post-acute and long-term care patients. The PA or NP will work with a team of geriatricians and other APPs in a shared patient model. This position practices within partnered facilities, which include long-term, assisted living, and skilled rehabilitation care settings in Farmington, ME. Part-time, 20 hours per week – Flexible - New Grads Welcome to Apply Minimum Qualifications: Successful completion of accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program. Two years of Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant experience preferred but not required. Current license issued by the State of Maine or eligible for licensure. Current BLS certification.
