Job Description
Part‑time instructor for the MAPE program. Deliver classroom curriculum and clinical learning activities. May serve on credentialing examination panels.
Qualifications
- Registered nurse or credentialed medical assistant with current nursing license or national certification.
- Strong background in medical assisting, nursing, or phlebotomy. Willing to obtain CCMA credential.
- Certified or willing to become AHA Basic Life Support Instructor; maintain instructor status.
- Ability to work full shifts (6‑9 hours) observing students in laboratory and clinical settings.
- Proficiency in evaluation, instruction, tracking, and documentation.
- Excellent written and oral communication.
- Self‑motivated, organized, collegial, flexible team member.
- Commitment to the mission of GBC and the Health Sciences Department.
Responsibilities
- Teach MAPE courses (online, lab, clinical components).
- Assist Program Director in curriculum implementation and execution.
- Manage and supervise classrooms, online, interactive labs and clinical areas.
- Evaluate student performance and achievement of outcomes.
- Participate in professional development activities.
- Maintain current vaccinations, BLS certification, insurance, and site‑specific requirements; manage Complio compliance.
- Other duties as assigned.

Benefits
