Business Systems Analyst/Tester

Join the CACI International team as a Business Systems Analyst/Tester supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs Financial Management Business Transformation (FMBT) program. This role focuses on front‑end functional testing and back‑end database validation for Momentum Financials.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain UAT test plans, test cases, and scripts for Momentum Financials applications and interfaces.
• Conduct front‑end testing of Momentum modules (Budget Execution, Accounts Payable/Receivable, General Ledger, Purchasing, etc.) to validate business processes and user workflows.
• Perform back‑end testing by writing and executing SQL queries to validate data integrity, accuracy, and consistency between the application and the database.
• Identify, document, and track defects using the designated defect management tool (JIRA, Agility).
• Collaborate with developers, functional analysts, and business users to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Validate integrations with external systems, financial reporting, and data migration activities.
• Participate in test readiness reviews, defect triage meetings, and UAT sign‑off activities.
• Provide detailed test results and metrics to support go/no‑go release decisions.
• Ensure all testing adheres to established FMBT quality assurance and release management processes.

Qualifications

• US citizenship required.
• 3+ years of experience as a business/systems analyst with strong experience in Momentum Financials preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum 3 years of relevant experience (education may be substituted).
• Strong analytical, written, and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to solve problems.
• Self‑starter, quick to learn and apply new skills.

Pay Range

$63,300 – $129,700 (national average)
