Summary

Maintains premises/buildings in clean and orderly condition and ensures compliance with stormwater quality regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Inspect site and all external buildings to ensure compliance with stormwater quality regulations.
• Review stormwater pollution prevention plans.
• Schedule and inspect outfalls.
• Assist with post inspections.
• Assist in fulfilling other contracted requirements to maintain compliance.

Work Environment

Employees are regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, high places, fumes or airborne particles, toxic chemicals, outside weather conditions, extreme cold and heat. Noise levels are usually loud.

Physical Demands

Must stand, walk long distances, sit, use hands, reach, climb stairs or ladder, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk or hear. Must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Education: High school education; up to six months related experience or training; or equivalent.
• Language Skills: Read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, procedure manuals. Write routine reports and correspondence. Speak effectively before groups.
• Reasoning Ability: Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions. Deal with problems involving several concrete variables.
