Description 
This Part-Time or Full-Time Janitor role is specifically located at our Kutztown University location and is dedicated to second-shift operations. This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and general upkeep of MRA-managed facilities on campus.
The primary focus is janitorial in nature, supporting a clean, safe, and well-presented environment for students, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, demonstrates reliability, and contributes to MRA's reputation for high-quality property management.
Responsibilities
• Perform daily cleaning and upkeep of common areas, offices, restrooms, hallways, and other designated spaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and disinfect floors, carpets, and surfaces.
• Empty trash and recycling receptacles throughout the property.
• Restock restroom supplies and maintain sanitation standards in all facilities.
• Conduct window, glass, and surface cleaning as needed.
• Assist with event setup, furniture movement, and general space preparation as required.
• Report any maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or property damage to the Property Manager.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good working condition; notify supervisor of inventory needs.
• Follow all company safety protocols and site-specific guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Support a professional, welcoming atmosphere at all MRA-managed spaces within Kutztown University.
• Perform all other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
• Prior janitorial, custodial, or facilities cleaning experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and presentation.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good communication skills and ability to interact professionally with building occupants and the Facilities team.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends, as needed.
• Must adhere to all MRA Group policies, safety procedures, and site requirements.
