Role
We are growing the runZero Product team and are looking for a Product Manager to help shape the future of our Exposure Management platform. As a Product Manager, youâll own the âwhatâ and âwhyâ of what we buildâtranslating customer needs and market opportunities into a clear roadmap that drives impact.
You will collaborate closely with sales, customer engineering, product marketing, and engineering to define and prioritize initiatives, enable customer-facing teams, and ensure we deliver best-in-class products. This is a highly crossâfunctional role that requires excellent writing skills, customer empathy, organizational strength, and an ability to translate bigâpicture strategy into clear, actionable execution.
Responsibilities
- Manage the product roadmap across multiple engineering teams, ensuring alignment with company strategy and customer needs
- Conduct customer discovery by joining sales calls, leading feedback sessions, and synthesizing insights into product direction
- Develop content and partner with sales and marketing to drive enablement, messaging, and product positioning that increases adoption and empowers goâtoâmarket success
- Write and refine product requirement tickets for engineering, plan and prioritize sprints, and ensure completed work meets our customersâ needs
- Serve as the voice of the customer internally, championing usability, security, and business impact
- Work crossâfunctionally with leadership and stakeholders to communicate roadmap priorities, progress, and outcomes
- Leverage your security expertise to ensure our products continue to address the most critical exposure management challenges
Requirements
- Background in cybersecurity (exposure management and vulnerability management strongly preferred) with proven experience as a Product Manager (or equivalent) in a SaaS or B2B environment
- Strong writing and communication skillsâyou can clearly explain complex topics to both technical and nonâtechnical audiences
- Experience working with crossâfunctional teams, including engineering, product marketing, sales, customer engineering and design
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and sprint planning
- Demonstrated success in customerâfacing product discovery and translating insights into actionable requirements
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fastâpaced environment
- A passion for building products that solve meaningful problems for security teams
Salary
runZero values transparency in the hiring process. According to our market data, weâre expecting this role to come in at a salary of about $175,000 - $200,000. We know that the talent market is always in flux, so please let us know if you believe we have advertised this role in the wrong salary band. We also provide equity to all employees.
