Base pay range: $90,000.00/yr – $100,000.00/yr

The Role

We’re seeking an experienced, hands‑on Accounting Manager with a strong track record in both day‑to‑day accounting and team leadership in small‑to‑mid‑sized businesses.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee A/P, A/R, payroll, and general ledger activities
• Manage month‑end and year‑end close with accurate and timely reporting
• Lead and mentor a small accounting team (A/R clerks, A/P, staff accountant)
• Support cost accounting and analyze manufacturing inventory/production variances
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and manage cash flow
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
• Drive process improvements and increase efficiency
• Coordinate with external auditors and support annual audit processes
• Work closely with operations, plant management, and leadership on cross‑functional financial initiatives

Who You Are

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required)
• 5+ years of accounting experience, with 2+ years in a leadership role
• Proven success in a hands‑on role – comfortable rolling up sleeves
• Experience in a small to mid‑sized manufacturing company
• Strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory, and ERP systems (Syteline a plus)
• Experience with Syteline ERP or similar, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills
• Able to work fully on‑site, with occasional Saturday coverage (every 6‑7 weeks 7:00‑11:00)
