This individual will serve as a key business partner, driving HR initiatives that support the client’s operational goals and company culture. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, and compliance, while acting as a trusted advisor to leadership. What You Will Be Doing: Manage daily HR operations at the plant level, including employee relations, policy enforcement, and compliance with federal and state labor laws. Oversee end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and performance management for hourly and salaried staff. Administer hourly payroll, employee benefits, and leave programs, ensuring accuracy and timely execution. Partner with plant leadership and corporate HR to support workforce planning, engagement, and organizational development initiatives. What We Need From You: Proven experience in hourly recruiting and onboarding processes, with the ability to coordinate seamlessly with corporate teams on salaried hires. Strong payroll processing skills, with exceptional attention to detail—especially in navigating union contract clauses and Paycom-specific workflows. Hands-on experience managing employee benefits and leave programs, ensuring compliance and smooth coordination. Familiarity with performance evaluation processes and a solid understanding of workplace safety protocols and HR’s role in supporting them. Familiarity with formal grievance procedures and the ability to navigate sensitive employee relations with professionalism and discretion. Experience in administering and interpreting labor contracts, ensuring alignment with company policies and union agreements. Background in a manufacturing environment, with a strong preference for candidates who have supported a unionized workforce.
