About the Practice The BRG Corporate Finance practice specializes in strategic, operational and financial advice to private equity firms, management teams, boards of directors, investors, hedge funds and other lenders or companies that are underperforming or in transition.
It has in‑depth experience across a wide range of industries and markets, including retail, consumer products, financial services, healthcare, energy and technology.

Transactions, including sale of assets or businesses
Responsibilities
Support day‑to‑day activities of BRG Corporate Finance – Turnaround & Restructuring client service teams on engagements.
Manage junior team on multiple tasks across a consulting engagement, including modeling and client presentations.
Utilize finance, accounting and analytical skills to perform and oversee tasks including 13‑week cash flow models, 3‑statement models and pro‑forma scenario models.
Collaborate with T&R and BRG experts, professionals from other firms and client contacts to achieve engagement objectives.
Prepare reports, written analyses, presentations and other client deliverables.
Participate in practice development, including marketing, client pitches and product development.
Build client relationships to become a trusted advisor.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Accounting/Finance, Management, Engineering, Economics, Mathematics or related field.
9+ years of work experience, ideally in consulting or professional services.
Expertise in financial modeling and analysis, including constructing and understanding 3‑statement models, cash flows and scenario analyses.
Ability to manage and analyze large volumes of financial and operational data.
Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to interact with junior/senior team members and stakeholders.
Strong problem‑solving and project‑management skills.
CFA, CPA (or equivalent) or technical/GAAP accounting expertise is a plus.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Familiarity with financial research tools (e.g., Capital IQ, Bloomberg).
Willingness to travel as needed.
