Our client is seeking a strategic and hands-on
Director
to join its Turnaround & Restructuring practice. This individual will play a critical role in leading client engagements, developing financial strategies, and mentoring junior team members. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in turnaround and restructuring, strong financial modeling capabilities, and a collaborative leadership style. Responsibilities
Lead and manage turnaround and restructuring engagements across various industries. Develop and maintain 13-week cash flow models and other financial tools to assess liquidity and operational viability. Serve as a key member or leader of deal teams, managing client relationships and internal resources. Conduct operational and financial assessments to identify performance improvement opportunities. Collaborate with stakeholders including lenders, legal advisors, and company leadership. Mentor and develop junior staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning. Support business development efforts through proposal writing, client presentations, and networking. Qualifications
Minimum of
8 years of total professional experience , with at least
3 years in turnaround and restructuring . Proven experience in
financial modeling , especially 13-week cash flow forecasting. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage multiple workstreams. Experience working in a client-facing role within a consulting or advisory environment. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred. Compensation
Expected Compensation: Base Salary: $180,000 - $200,000 Discretionary Bonus: 25% - 50%
