Job Summary: The Quality Inspector reports to the Quality Supervisor or the Sr. Quality Engineer. They are responsible for performing visual and dimensional product inspection on manufactured parts/products to released drawings and specifications. The Quality Inspector 1 is responsible for documenting non-conformances. The Quality Inspector may also perform inspection of raw materials.
A Shift Sunday - Tuesday and every other Wednesday 5:50am - 6:00pm
Specific Responsibilities:
Uphold and communicate the purpose, values, and vision of Intertech and TriMas
Complete daily tasks in accordance with Intertech’s Policies and Procedures
Complete daily tasks in accordance with safety rules and regulations
Perform inspection duties utilizing engineering drawings and history files, inspection, work instructions, technical specifications, QA procedures and instructions, and other related documents
Support and follow all ISO 13485 standards
Identify and report non-conforming material and product
Understand and apply product traceability
Perform preliminary and progressive production inspections, verify functional operation, final inspections, and verify paperwork
Skilled at conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance
Investigate or report questionable inspection results
Verify and document specified manufacturing process steps
Perform conformity/first article inspections to ensure compliance
Perform area inspections to ensure compliance with applicable standards and specifications
Provide technical support to manufacturing personnel
Perform general 5S activities daily
Ability to work independently
Demonstrate ability to read, understand, interpret and implement technical procedures and work
On-Site: This role is required to be on-site 5 days at the Denver, Colorado location.
