Job Description The Pre-Construction Manager is responsible for managing new builds, renovations, and expansions of Fulfillment Centers across the United States, ensuring effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. The role oversees project management from the design phase through implementation and operation, negotiates construction, procurement, and labor contracts, and coordinates site development and project coordination tasks.

Essential Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a comparable field.

7+ years of experience in a related discipline such as Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.

7+ years of project management experience from design phase through implementation and operation.

7+ years of experience negotiating construction, procurement, and labor contracts.

Familiarity with AutoCAD, BIM, and scheduling software such as Primavera or MS Project.

Proficiency in RFIs, stakeholder management, and contract review.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in at least two disciplines within the construction industry, such as General Contracting, Owner’s Representation, Commercial Development, Engineering & Design, or similar.

Success in communicating project requirements to various audiences.

Experience in facilities management or similar roles, including planning, design review, implementation, and project management/control of new structures and existing buildings.

Program management of concurrent projects.

Project Management accreditation (PMP® or similar).

Work Environment This position is fully remote, with each Project Manager handling 11 sites and requiring one site visit per location. Expect 30-50% travel. The role offers enhanced benefits, including 10 paid time off days and 7 holidays, as well as sick time per state laws. There is no tenure limit for benefits.

Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Seattle, Washington.

Pay and Benefits Pay range: $68.00 - $68.00/hr.
