Northwest Justice Project (NJP) is a not-for-profit statewide law firm with a mission of Combatting Injustice.
NJP’s mission includes

Protecting Human Dignity . The firm secures justice for people in or near poverty through high‑quality legal advocacy that promotes the long‑term well‑being of low‑income individuals, families, and communities through legal representation, community partnerships, education, and other advocacy.
The City of Seattle Human Services Department will fund legal services to seniors (age 60 and older). NJP is seeking qualified attorneys committed to supporting our mission and serving seniors. Applicants must be willing to engage with the community to be served as well as with other advocates and professionals who provide advanced care planning and a broad range of other services to seniors.
This is a full‑time, regular position funded for one year, with a strong history of renewal. The position is based in Seattle and reports to the King County Public Benefits/Special Projects Unit Managing Attorney.
Salary Range:
$83,548.00/yr – $146,692.00/yr. The starting salary is based upon years of experience.
Benefits:
100% paid employee health premiums and significant premium shares for family health premiums, as well as generous time off.
Engage with seniors in the community to understand and advocate for their legal needs.
Collaborate with community advocates, advanced care planners, and other service providers to coordinate comprehensive services for seniors.
Provide legal services that promote long‑term well‑being for low‑income individuals, families, and the broader community.
Work with the King County Public Benefits/Special Projects Unit Managing Attorney on program oversight and strategy.
