Varies Atrium Health Mercy in Charlotte, NC, is seeking Physician Assistants and Acute Care Nurse Practitioners to join our Hospitalist Team. This is an inpatient-focused role within a leading community-focused academic healthcare system serving North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia. Highlights of this role

Inpatient swing shift, 7-on/7-off | 12 PM - 10 PM Weekends included in rotation; night rotation is rare 100% inpatient adult medicine No open ICU or procedures Position located at Atrium Health Mercy, just 1.3 miles from CMC Main What you'll do

Perform medical history, physical examinations, routine assessments, and determine treatment plans for patients Document all patient encounters, observations, interventions, and actions in a timely and medically appropriate manner Act as a patient and family advocate for the population served Participate in continuous quality improvement priorities, service delivery processes, and service excellence initiatives Adhere to access and productivity policies and protocols to optimize patient care Follow care standards and protocols to deliver appropriate, cost-effective care both in-person and virtually Actively and regularly participate in assigned meetings and committees Model Atrium Health Core Values Adhere to Medical Group Minimum Work Standards Core Competencies

Experienced APP with at least 2 years of inpatient or hospitalist experience preferred New grads will be considered Physician Assistant – Graduate from an accredited PA program required; NCCPA certification required Acute Care Nurse Practitioner – Master's or Doctorate in Nursing Practice required; RN license and Acute Care board certification required Strong critical thinker with sound clinical judgment Effective communicator with the ability to prioritize and make timely decisions When you join Atrium Health, you will be welcomed into a culture that celebrates and respects the contributions a diverse team can make together.
